🎗️ NATIONAL TACKLE KIDS CANCER DAY
Today, September 15, is National Tackle Kids Cancer Day, a day to raise awareness of childhood cancer and recognize the children and families facing a fight no family should have to face alone.
Here at the Amesbury Police Department, we’re fortunate to work with community partners who help support these families, including Caidens Crusaders Inc. and Cops For Kids With Cancer
Caiden’s Crusaders is a local organization that provides financial assistance, raises awareness, and supports families dealing with the many challenges that come with a childhood cancer diagnosis. Their message says it best:
“No Child and Family Fights Alone.”
Cops for Kids with Cancer brings the law enforcement community together to provide financial assistance directly to families of children battling cancer, helping ease some of the financial burden that can come with treatment.
Today we recognize the kids fighting, the survivors, their parents and siblings, and those we have lost, as well as the organizations, volunteers and communities standing beside them.
🎗️ No child or family should have to fight cancer alone.
