Just 4 more days ‘til we meet up to see all the wonderful vendor booths full of handmade goods, art, funky little treasures (and much more!), local artists, creative people, ceramics, jewelry, fresh & dried flowers, really good snacks, and things made and collected by actual human hands!

Our market is family and leashed dog friendly. We also have live interactive clay experiences at ’s Clay on Wheels booth! Local nonprofits onsite are Lights Out Ames🐧 and the Alzheimer’s Association of Iowa.🙌🏾

🎵🎸We’re thrilled to welcome and as our live music line up for the June 7th Lucky Star Market in downtown Ames! 🙌🏾👏 🎉 Foxpin will play from 11am-1pm and Will Hatchet will play from 1:30-3:30pm.🎶 Come shop, stroll, and enjoy a day shopping and supporting local artists and small-batch makers!☀️🌺

is an Ames band that plays earnest Midwestern alt rock with bluesy keys and a tasteful rhythm section. Members are Ben Erbes, Chase Abner, Dan McClanahan, and Lane.

🙌🏾We have an amazing line up of vendors and food trucks coming together with applications still open (some categories are close to full!). ☀️

✨Our Fareway markets are free admission and family-friendly and have become a vibrant Ames tradition!✨

Applications are OPEN for Lucky Star’s Fareway markets in downtown Ames! ☀️ Sunday, June 7th and Sunday, October 4th 11am-4pm☀️

📣Calling artists, makers, bakers, repurposers, creators, vintage collectors, food artisans and food trucks…You can apply now on our website or use the link in our bio. 🙌🏾 Non profits can apply, too. (Booth fees waived if accepted).

Applications will remain open until all categories are full. Notifications will be sent out beginning March 1st and we’ll continue to send notifications every 10 days.

⭐️Lucky Star encourages creators, small businesses, small batch makers, artists and the community to connect and THRIVE through keeping creativity alive and vibrant in Ames! ⭐️

We want to offer a huge thanks to our shoppers, vendors, amazing sponsors, and friends who helped make the Lucky Star Holiday Market a wonderful success last weekend! We’re incredibly grateful for your support, creativity, and community.🫶

❄️This December’s weather brought real challenges for small businesses, but we’re especially thankful for everyone who showed up, shopped, and supported makers, artists, and vintage vendors throughout the weekend.🎁

We’re also very proud that our holiday market helped support the local nonprofit, and the important work they do for in our community! Additionally, we’re thrilled to share our market raised over $1k for !🎉❤️
