Dan Phillips, a Bridge Engineer in our Cranberry, PA office, recently accompanied these students at the 2025 ASCE Eastern Great Lakes Student Symposium, hosted by Michigan Technological University, where they earned first place overall.
A YSU alumnus, Dan volunteers as a practitioner advisor to the student chapter and plays an active role in supporting their competition efforts. The Student Steel Bridge Competition National Finals kicks off tomorrow at Iowa State University!
While we anxiously await the final rankings, we’re celebrating three teams that have already won big in special award categories.
