IMPORTANT STATEMENT FROM THE 2026 FALL FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS
The Amery Fall Festival Planning Committee has just been made aware of criminal charges filed against a former carnival employee. The arrest occurred just before this past weekend’s Fall Festival began.
We are deeply concerned to learn of this situation. The safety and well-being of our community, especially the children and families who attend the Amery Fall Festival, is something we take extremely seriously.
As part of our event planning process, we work to carefully vet the vendors and organizations we invite into our community, including conducting background checks.
Our thoughts and support are with the child and family impacted by this situation. We will cooperate fully with any investigation and provide any information or assistance requested by law enforcement.
While we cannot control the individual actions of every person who attends or participates in a public event, we remain committed to doing everything reasonably within our control to provide a safe and welcoming festival for our community.
We are grateful for the continued trust our community places in the Fall Festival Planning Committee, and we remain encouraged by the incredible community spirit demonstrated at the festival each year.
