As we prepare for another exciting season at Fabulous Feet Dance Studio, I wanted to share something that has been on my heart for a long time…our mission, our purpose, and the direction we are continuing to grow toward. 💖
Over the next several weeks, I will be spending a lot of time reorganizing and refining the structure of the studio as we prepare for next season. Behind the scenes, I’ll be working through registrations, finalizing competition team details, revamping the studio app, interviewing potential instructors, and creating clearer systems for communication and expectations moving forward.
With the amount of growth we have experienced over the past few years, I’ve realized that in order for Fabulous Feet to continue growing successfully, we have to begin operating with more structure, organization, and professionalism in all areas of the studio. While the heart of Fabulous Feet will always remain personal, welcoming, and family oriented, we are moving toward a more professional and corporate style structure behind the scenes to better support our dancers, staff, and studio families as we continue to grow.
I also want to be transparent in saying that much of the planning, restructuring, decision making, and visions for the studio is done by me personally. That is something I intentionally prefer because I believe consistency in leadership and decision making is important when building and protecting something you care deeply about. Carrying that responsibility can be overwhelming at times, but I care deeply about making decisions that are best for the dancers, the studio, our staff, and my own family.
One of my biggest goals moving forward is to eliminate blurred lines when it comes to communication, expectations, and leadership so that everyone feels supported, respected, and confident in the direction we are heading together.
Growth is a blessing, but growth also requires change, reflection, structure, and strong leadership. Every adjustment being made is coming from a place of wanting the very best for this studio and the children who walk through our doors each week.
Thank you for continuing to believe in this dream and for trusting me with your children season after season. I truly believe the best is still ahead for Fabulous Feet. ✨
