The AF Canyon Run Against Cancer was created to be not only one of the most beautiful races in the state but, more importantly one of the greatest causes.

Runners of all levels can join us for the half marathon, 10K, 5K or KidsK.

Hello AF Canyon Run Family

After thoughtful discussions with our race committee, we have decided to make our 2021 event a VIRTUAL RUN. We believe this is the safest approach for the well-being of our amazing participants, sponsors, and volunteers.

We are so grateful for all the well wishes from our community and the outpouring of love we’ve felt during the last year. We love our AF Canyon Run Against Cancer family and want to give a huge THANK YOU for continuing to support our cause.

We love you. We care about you and your loved ones and we’ll look forward to seeing your results roll in this summer!

Watch for contests, runners clinics, and maybe some sneak peeks at the swag for 2021!

A few of our committee members gathered this morning for the first time EVER to run the canyon on race day! It was a historic event for us, but we’re looking forward to hosting our favorite running community next year and properly CELEBRATING 10 YEARS!

We just can’t let June 20, 2020 pass by without marking the day that would have been our 10th anniversary. To commemorate the day we would like to encourage you to still take the opportunity to "run in honor" of your loved ones, or simply run for yourself!

As an added incentive for those who run on Saturday, June 20th (in your own neighborhood or on your favorite running trail) we invite you to post a photo and tag us and tell us WHY YOU RUN. For everyone who participates in this fun activity, you will be entered into a drawing to WIN A TREADMILL, courtesy of NordicTrack!

Our friend put it best, “Happy Marathon Monday! Whether you have run Boston, want to run Boston, should have run Boston today, or love someone who has run Boston, take a few minutes to celebrate this day.” 💙🦄💛

Throwback to two years ago when our very own Katie (who works tirelessly to make the a success) ran Boston in the worst weather conditions ever! ❤️

Even though races and events are getting canceled daily we hope you can still find a moment to and run in honor of those you love!

It is with sadness that we must announce the cancellation of the AF Canyon Run Against Cancer due to guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our top priority is the continued health and safety of our community. The event will be postponed until 2021.

We share with you our disappointment in this outcome. We hope you'll still take the opportunity to 'run in honor' of your loved ones on June 20th. We'll look forward to joining together with you again in 2021 to celebrate our 10 years running to fight cancer!

If you have already registered for the race, please check your email for more information on how to manage your registration. Our thoughts are with all of you as we continue to battle this virus together. Stay safe and well.

"My mom fought bladder cancer, then it spread to her bones. Intermountain Health Care gave her the best care and extended her life a good 5 years. She's been gone for 3 years now but I still think of calling her when something exciting happens in my life. Maybe I always will. I miss her."
