Ink & Anime Con Voice Actor Ray Hurd!! 🏴‍☠️

Adventurers, we are pleased to announce Admiral Kizaru will be sailing in from the Blue Sea for this year's convention!! 🌊

Ray Hurd has worked in the voice-over industry for more than 20 years, voicing some of anime's most fearsome characters including:

Ink & Anime Con Voice Actor
Charlie Campbell ✨️

The Hero Academy just called and they are sending over one of their best and fastest mentors... GRAN TORINO!!⚡️

A highly respected voice actor, ADR director, and audio engineer. Charlie has been a staple in the anime industry since the mid 1990s, starting with ADV Films and later working extensively with Funimation/Crunchyroll

He is best known for voicing powerful, seasoned veterans, wise mentors, and eccentric older characters. To name a few, some of his most notable roles include:

My Hero Academia - Gran Torino ⚡️
One Piece - Fujitora 🏴‍☠️
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime - Hakurou 🍙
DBZ - North Supreme Kai ✨️
And with sooo many more characters under his belt the odds are high that you have heard Charlie's voice if you watch anime

Ink & Anime Con, MC and comedy host CHINAMAN AKA Mark Britten ✨️

Adventurers, every legendary quest needs a voice to guide the tavern, rally the crowd, and keep the energy at a maximum level!!

When you hear Marks voice you might find yourself familiar, as he is a phenomenal comedian known as "Chinaman" and the voice actor behind the OG voices of Master Korin, Ox-King, Burter, Grand Kai, Oolong and more from Dragon Ball Z!! 🐲

Chinaman will be in house and on the mic throughout Ink & Anime Con. He will also be taking to the stage both days for a special comedy set

EARLY BIRD ADMISSION 🐦

Adventurers, we will be announcing our voice actors, tattoo artists, vendors and all of the cool things we have been putting together for you all at Ink & Anime Con 2026 as the days turn to night and we grow closer to our convention floors being filled with high level travelers

VIP passes will be available starting June 1st with only 100 passes being made. 5 VIP passes will be reserved for future giveaways leading up to the convention

Early bird general admission passes will be available June 1st - July 1st.
Discounted pricing will fly away July 1st 💸

Adventurers we just leveled up and gained 10+ insight. You might notice a few changes on our page and website as we officially make the transition to Ink & Anime Con!

Why the change, well.. As we have spent these last few months building this event we realized that "expo" felt a little too corporate for us to comfortably stand about the campfire. This event is about the art, the community and culture, not the next business deal. This is a show put together by an Amarillo, Tx resident artist with a calling to bring two niche communities together; the tattooing and anime/ comic con world. So without further delay we would like to re introduce Ink & Anime Con!!

Same owner, same passion just a different name, logo & website URL as we move forward onto the next boss fight

We will formally reach out to those of you who have shown interest in being a part of the event and inform you of our endeavors

Mikal Schroeder is a talented artist, painter, music producer and tattoo artist based in Amarillo, Texas. He is the proud owner of two esteemed ventures: the new Ink & Anime con and Studio 38

Mikal’s connection for anime and the art form began with a childhood filled with classic anime shows, collecting Yu-Gi-Oh/ Pokémon cards, playing his fair share of video games & role-playing superheroes while wearing the classic towel cape

It's safe to say his childhood passions have carried over and even inspired him to dedicate a significant part of his tattooing career to anime and similar-style tattoos. These days, you can expect to see a watercolor touch incorporated into his work with a dazzling palette to match

Mikal's enthusiasm and commitment to mixing the professional tattoo world with the excitement of the comic con scene is the driving vision behind Ink & Anime con
