8th Annual Summer AMARILLO DOUBLES- 2023

As you guys know this year we didn’t have the “Spring Version” of Amarillo Doubles due to us having the Don Simmons Memorial tournament instead. Moving forward we will leave it that way… so there will no longer be a Amarillo Doubles Spring Event in April and it will be replaced by the Memorial Tournament💙.

BUT.. Im Announcing today after strong consideration that We have made the decision to continue the Amarillo Doubles “Summer Event” that has been held in August the past 6 years.

The 7th Annual Event will be Held Aug 5-6th @ Eastridge Lanes in Amarillo TX! Info to come ASAP

In honor of Don Simmons, the Annual Amarillo Doubles event i run will have a new name and will now be called the
Don Simmons Memorial Doubles Invitational and will be held at Eastridge Lanes every year!

We will make changes and have new trophies to honor him and his impact on the bowling community. This change means a lot to me and know it will mean a lot to his family going forward! Family members will help me run it and present the trophies to the winners of the tournament every year!

These 2 Trophy’s are making a comeback this event and will be up for grabs also to the Winners!

$320 Entry fee per Team! Contact me on info to get signed up!

Hdcp 90% of 210! Only 1 PBA National Title holder allowed per team.
9 games of qualifying, cut to top 1:5, bowl 5 more games with scores carrying over and top 5 advance for stepladder finals!

Yes This event will happen 100%!
