Without volunteers, our festivals simply would not happen. ❤️
This year, Amana Colonies Festivals, Inc. had an incredible group of volunteers who came together to make the Amana Colonies Oktoberfest happen and look how it turned out. Amazing!
It takes time, effort, and dedication. And so much more.
Thank you to every volunteer who gave us a few hours, a full day, or several days of their time. Volunteering is so much more than what most people see. It can include, but certainly isn’t limited to, shopping for supplies, cleaning, heavy lifting of fences, bales and bars, serving food, processing admission ticket transactions, helping with medical emergencies, carrying equipment for a band, decorating, setting up tables and chairs, tearing them down and putting everything away, sweeping the barn, hauling trash, and on and on and on.
While festival-goers see the fun, the smiles, the laughter, the music and the memories, there is an incredible amount of work happening behind the scenes to make it all possible.
There will never be enough “thank yous” to go around, but we hope every volunteer knows just how much we appreciate you. We see the fun happening. We see the smiles. We see the laughter. We see the photos. And we know it was all worth it.
We hope you feel the same.
To every person who gave their time, energy and heart to Oktoberfest, THANK YOU. You are the people behind the party. ❤️
