How to find the right Wedding Reception Venue?

Decide as a couple what you want out of a venue:
✔️ Do you want to be married in a place of worship? Or in a venue that can also house your reception?
✔️ Do you want an inside/outside space, and if outside what are the venue's back-up plans for inclement weater?
✔️ What style or feel of venue do you want?
✔️ Do you want a venue that can be all or mostly inclusive for your vendors or do you want to find all of your vendors yourself?
✔️ Do you want alcohol, and what is the venue's policy for alcohol? Options to bring in from outside may seem less expensive, but incurs a lot more work!
✔️ Do you want to be able to get ready at the venue on the big day?
✔️ Do you want to be able to come into the venue for decorating and set up the day before?
