We are extremely sorry for the delay in providing a clear resolution for 2023's partial cancellation. We know that frustrations are continuing to compound, and fans deserve more communication and information from us. It has pained us immensely that we have not been permitted to do so thus far. For the first time, we have recently been given permission to issue this more complete statement.

Our event had the benefit of festival interruption and abandonment insurance. Receiving coverage for a claim of this magnitude takes a considerable amount of time. The firms representing the Festival expect a response to the claim in the first quarter of 2024 or shortly thereafter. After the response from the insurance companies, we will update all of you and begin the process of providing complete resolutions for everyone.

Our insurance policy has language restricting our public pronouncements until the claim is settled. This is the reason we have largely been silent. It has been incredibly difficult to not publicize evidence to refute many of the reports surrounding the Festival. However, we are unwilling to jeopardize the recovery of the policy for you the fans, prejudice our rights, or prejudice the insurance carriers’ rights. We eagerly await the moment when we can provide full transparency.

The unanticipated, sudden, and extraordinary storms, which put fans, crews, bands, and the event in grave danger were incredibly unfortunate. The damage caused by these storms has yet to be fully revealed. Despite the time this process has taken, we have not stopped working diligently on your behalf. The moment we have the authority, we will address everything in full. This has been brutal for all of us. We continue to work tirelessly to ensure a timely resolution and have taken every step possible on our end to shorten the process.

We fully understand the animosity that many of you have towards this situation. There is so much more to this story than what has come to light. A special thank you to those of you who have continued to support us during these hard times. Your patience and grace has been a testament to the passionate community that surrounds this event and built it to the largest on the continent. It goes without saying that we would be nothing without each of you.

Weather reports indicate continued storm activity rolling throughout the day that will continue to bring high winds and precipitation. Here are important details as you depart on Sunday, September 10th:

CAMPERS: Due to additional impending weather anticipated tomorrow afternoon, we are moving camping check out to Sunday, September 10th by 2pm. We have put these plans in place to ensure that fans can exit the campgrounds safely.

- If you have a disabled/stuck vehicle, please pop open the hood of your car to flag to our staff that you need assistance. We will have UTV’s roaming the campgrounds looking for patrons in need of assistance.
- We have arranged for mobile fueling services to provide Gas to campers on-site. These units will be roaming throughout the Campground this Sunday.
- Campers who arrived without a vehicle and need ride share/pickup services, please head to the on-site box office. We will assist you with shuttling to the Blue Lot for pickup.
- The campground General Stores will stay open throughout the night and into Sunday morning.
- The on-site box office will be a multi-service location that is open from 10am-2pm on Sunday. You will be able to check lost and found, pick up any items left in your locker, and you can request the unused funds loaded to your wristband.
- If you are unable to make it to the box office during these hours, you can register for Lost and Found and find more information on how to request the unused funds loaded to your wristband at blueridgerockfest.com/general-faq/.

DAY PARKERS:
- The BLUE LOT box office will be a multi-service location that is open from 3-7pm on Sunday. You will be able to check lost and found, pick up any items left in your locker, and can request the unused funds loaded to your wristband.

Due to illness, we are saddened to announce that Till Lindemann must regrettably cancel his performance at Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2023. We will be working diligently with Till Lindemann's team to bring him back for you in 2024. As we are always committed to doing, we rapidly put in strong offers to several noteworthy acts to step in for Till. On this short and unexpected notice, every band had to pass due to lack of band member + crew availability this close to the Festival. We pivoted, and have worked very quickly with the Artists performing on Friday to modify the set times in order to reduce/eliminate the conflicting overlapping sets that you the Fan wanted changed the most. In particular, we have gotten rid of your #1 schedule request of the entire weekend by removing any overlap between Sleep Token and Lorna Shore.

Sleep Token has been moved to the Main Stage. Both their set and Motionless In White's have been slightly extended as well, with Motionless now performing later at night. Using your fan feedback, we did our absolute best to accomplish as many of your wishes as possible despite the circumstances. We are not aware of any other cancellations across your 154 Artist Lineup, and look forward to seeing you all very soon for an incredible Rock & Metal Weekend!

Check out the graphic for some of the Highlights, including Liquor now being open to All throughout the Festival Arena AND a Full Bar added in the Campgrounds!
3) APP: The Blue Ridge Rock Festival App is LIVE! Download it to set your Custom Schedule, View Festival Maps, FAQ's & more! **The App Developer has successfully troubleshooted the Custom Schedule disappearing bug that early downloaders experienced! They have also informed us that the App now works with little or no cell reception! Note: Set Times are adjusted to your current time zone. If you are not in EST yet, the times will display incorrectly until you get to EST.
4) STILL NEED TICKETS/CAMPSITES? There are a few left on LYTE, the official Fan-To-Fan Exchange of the sold out Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2023. LYTE has just launched a new feature across their platform that allows Payment Plans - with payments even being able to be made post-Festival! 🤯

TICKET GIVEAWAY: We do this every year, and will continue to do so no matter how big or small Blue Ridge Rock Festival is, because it's something we passionately believe in. Blue Ridge was founded on a mission of harnessing the unifying, healing strength of music to make a positive impact on people within the Rock & Metal community. As a Festival powered by the Fan, it hurts us more than you know that so many fans cannot attend each year due to financial constraints. SET TIMES: Your Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2023 schedule is here! NEW THIS YEAR - We have reduced the distance between stages to cut back on walking, and allow you to catch as many performances as possible throughout your weekend. Rockstar/VIP Gates open at 11am & GA Gates open at 11:30am on each day!

The Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2023 Official App will be LIVE next week, allowing you to conveniently customize your own Artist Schedule for each day of the Festival!

- Single Night Club tickets and Shuttle passes are both DIGITAL passes. You will not receive anything in the mail.
- If you have not received your wristbands yet, please continue to check your mail throughout this week. They are coming from the ticketing fulfillment company in Arkansas! As always, for any order that was purchased/paid off after July 25th, your passes are waiting for you at the Box Office/Will Call. For full locations and hours, check out our FAQ's on our website.
- Artist Meet & Greet holders will receive an email for instructions and access information for the Meet & Greet Tent.
- Merchandise: We are proactively working to minimize Merchandise Lines this year, particularly with you the Fans voting/hand picking many of the designs that will be offered this year! 1) For the last few months, we had an exclusive online shirt design available to be purchased and shipped in advance, which many of you took advantage of. 2) Select Festival Merchandise will now be available for purchase at the FREE Pre-Party held on-site for Campers. 3) We added a second Festival Merchandise booth in the VIP Lounge. 4) We are offering skip the line/ship to home while at the Festival this year. Meaning you can browse the inventory available on-site, and have your items shipped directly to your residence 10-14 days after the Festival.
