✅ TIPS certification required — provided by us!

On Armed Forces Day, we proudly recognize the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Each year during the fair, we continue that tradition with a special day dedicated to honoring our veterans and active military members through free admission and a ceremony in their honor.

It’s one small way we can say thank you for the sacrifices made not only by service members, but by the families and communities who stand beside them.

We look forward to gathering again this year to recognize those who have served our country with courage and commitment. ❤️

There’s something special about people who show up before the crowds, before the music, before the smell of fair food fills the air.

This spring, a dedicated group of volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help clean, repair, paint, plant, and prepare the fairgrounds for another season. Their work may not always be seen during the excitement of fair week — but the impact of it is everywhere.

To every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to the Altamont Fairgrounds: thank you. ❤️

The fair has always belonged to the community, and it continues because of people who care enough to pitch in.

And if you’ve ever thought:
