Step back in time for A Heritage Holiday: Christmas in Cherokee County!

Celebrate the season with us December 6th from 9–5 and December 7th from noon–4 as five local museums open their doors for a magical weekend of Christmas past! Each stop along the route will be decked out in festive décor and filled with holiday traditions that bring our local history to life.

Here’s what you can experience:
Sanford Museum & Planetarium – Festival of Trees & a charming Victorian Christmas
Northwest Iowa Railroad Museum – Christmas at the Depot
Aurelia Heritage Museum – Family Traditions through the years
Marcus Historical Society – A Smalltown Christmas
Grand Meadow Heritage Center – A Pioneer Christmas

Load up your own vehicle and enjoy the tour at your own pace, or ride in comfort on the A Heritage Holiday Bus Tour!
