Most recently, Jill worked as the Creative Producer for Studio 5 on KSL, allowing her to to work with so many local talented creators. Jill has three children and a very supportive husband, Dave. Foraged & Found Whimsical Animal & Figurine Creations Workshop with Jandee Jones Jandee Jones Jandee Jones /// Hands-on Workshop

This class is a hands on creating experience where the teacher Jandee Jones (a passionate repurposer) will provide all the materials and tools needed with easy instructions and tips to create these one of a kind creations. These make adorable Christmas Ornaments and seasonal displays. Also it’s a great way to get experience with an activity you can then easily replicate with your family!

This class patterned after a tradition Jandee began with her own children several years ago, as a fun thing to do over the holidays with a lot of excess walnuts they had from their walnut tree. Through some real trial an error she learned some helpful “do’s and don’ts” to make the activity a winner and now its one her family enjoys every year. Jandee is an avid gardner and hiker and enjoys sourcing all the materials for the class all season round. These are foraged items from her own backyard and the mountain trails nearby.

Jandee Jones grew up on a farm in Pleasant Grove, Utah, where resourcefulness and creative repurposing were a way of life. A classically trained ballerina with a passion for vintage charm, hand-crafting, and sewing, Jandee loves giving discarded items and foraged natural elements a charming second life.

A featured contributor on KSL’s Studio 5, Jandee and her husband, fine art painter Jordan Jones Jordan Jones , have filled their home and garden with whimsical, repurposed projects. “Book Arts, The Alpha Stitch” with Angie Fisher /// Hands-on Workshop

Join us for an exciting evening where art and bookbinding intersect! Book arts is the creative practice of designing and making books where the physical form and content become an integrated artistic expression. 📖

We’ll use the alpha stitch to create a beautiful softcover book that can be used as a journal, sketchbook, notebook, or given as a lovely gift. We’ll provide everything you need to make your very own book. By the end of the class, you’ll be prepared to make more books on your own using many different materials that can be found around your home.

TEACHER: Originally from Pennsylvania, Angie Fisher spent the last 30 years living in San Diego before retiring from a career in education and moving to Pleasant Grove in April of 2026 to be closer to family. With an educator’s passion for reading, and a need for creative expression, she combined these two interests into making books as works of art. A member of the Handmade Book Club, a global book arts community, she continues to refine her craft one book at a time. Now, Angie shares her hobby with others who enjoy book arts as family treasures, gifts, and remembrances. In her spare time, she loves riding her new e-bike on Utah trails, movie nights with her grandchildren and doodling.

TEACHER: Jessica Peterson (instagram: The Tufting Room SLC & jessicasphotos) has been a photographer, crafter and artist for many years. She studied photography at Art Center College of Design and has been working as a photographer since graduating in 2006. Jessica has been in love with all forms of art and needle felting has been one of them. It is the perfect medium for mess-free sculpture and design and the possibilities are endless with such simple tools.

Growing Dahlias as Pot Tubers: Saving Space, Time & Labor with Ann Bailey from Bailey’s Blooms .s.blooms.2023 /// Demonstration Class

Nestled between Utah Lake and the Wasatch Mountains in Lehi, Utah, Bailey’s Blooms is a licensed 11-acre nursery run by Ann Bailey. Over her 30 years on the farm—and 13 years growing dahlias—Ann has dedicated her land to producing luscious alfalfa, diverse cut flowers, and over 400 dahlia varieties. This past season alone, she cultivated 1,050 plants. Uniquely growing her dahlias exclusively as pot tubers to minimize space, water, and labor, she supplies stems, tubers, seeds, and cuttings to local florists, wedding designers, and garden enthusiasts.
At the heart of Ann’s work is her mission of “Spreading Sunshine.” Most of her sales proceeds go directly toward gifting floral arrangements to local businesses and individuals to lift their spirits. An active member of the Utah Dahlia Society and the Utah Cut Flower Farmers Association, Ann freely shares her passion by teaching classes at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens, leading youth and adult floral arranging workshops, and hosting sanitary “You-Pick” events for the community.
