Hey guys and gals.

I know that a lot of you have missed a few years of running the KLT. That's ok! The Forest Service gave me a big scare over the past few years with threats and intimidation, but it didn't work. I have run this trail (legally) for the last 10 years and I don't plan on stopping. If you want to get together and run/hike the trail, show up this sat (16th) @ 8am and let's do it. There will be no prizes or burning obstacles of shocking wires or tents or snacks or cheerleaders... Just us and the mountains.

Runners: If you plan on camping tonight, be aware, it may be cold. I was going to camp but have decided to stay in my warm house instead.

Regardless, I will see you all in the morning bright and early. It should be a beautiful day for a run.....

I hope to see a few of you on sat. We're running at 8am regardless of weather (lightning no no). Bring a friend and an extra lung...... The road up to the lake is bad, so carpool if you can.

Hey Kite Lakers!

It looks like we'll be running the Triple on Sat, Sept.17, 2016.

Of course, we'll also be spending the night on Friday the 16th at the trail-head. Let me know if you wanna join.

REMEMBER: Bring your friends and bring your gear. This year could be cold!

Hey runners!

The Kite Lake Triple is in less than ten days (Sat, the 12th). I hope you've trained a little. If not, no worries. I bet you won't be the only one.

Here are a couple thoughts:
1. Oktoberfest is after the run in Breckenridge, so run and then go celebrate in town.
2. You do not need to sign up for the run. Just show up.
3. Run will start at 8am
4. Drinks upon finish recommended. I will bring a few beers for runners.

I will be camping at Kite Lake the night before (Fri 11th) and as usual, I invite you all to join.

Also, be ready for weather. Anything can happen.
