📣 ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome Tyreek McDole to the 2026 Charles River Jazz Festival.

The 24-year-old Haitian-American vocalist has quickly become one of the most talked-about rising stars in jazz, earning 1st Place in the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and becoming only the second male vocalist to win in the competition’s history.

Praised for his rich sound, commanding presence, and deep connection to the jazz tradition, McDole has shared the stage with artists including Gary Bartz, Theo Croker, Rodney Whitaker, Victor Goines, and many more. A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, he continues to make waves on the New York jazz scene and recently released his debut album, Open Up Your Senses.

We’re thrilled to announce that Ghost-Note will headline the 2026 Charles River Jazz Festival!

Led by 7-time Grammy Award winner Robert “Sput” Searight, Ghost-Note features musicians who have performed and recorded with Prince, Kendrick Lamar, Herbie Hancock, Snarky Puppy, Marcus Miller, Kirk Franklin, and other icons.

Their live shows are a tour de force of funk, with dazzling solos and airtight arrangements that will have you dancing while shaking your head in awe. This massive percussion- and horn-driven band delivers a “mind-blowing healing sensation” that is positively, unapologetically funky.
