It’s time we give our ribs a little love.
They’re a customer favorite and usually the first meat to sell out (that’s sorta why we don’t bring them up too much)
Slow-smoked over Texas post oak, seasoned simply, and served as a meat on a plate, half rack or whole rack.

And since it's Saturday, we will have our usual special of burnt ends in addition to our regular menu.

Made with ground brisket, hand-pattied, smoked, and topped with American cheese and our housemade herbed mayo.
**$10 per burger**

**SATURDAY — Burnt Ends**
**$26/lb or upgrade any plate for $2**

**SUNDAY — Loaded Potatoes**
A big baked potato loaded with butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, and your choice of smoked meat.
**Pulled Pork — $13 | Brisket — $16**

King Kwasi is a funny mofo,fo sho, coming straight up out that San Antonio Texas. His laid back demeanor is very misleading as he gives his insightful yet witty observations on life and his experiences through story telling and well crafted jokes. Raised by his father, who is a US Army veteran, you’d think he’d have more structure and discipline as he takes audiences on a journey they seem to always enjoy! He’s opened up for comedy legends Micheal Blackson, Guy Torrey & is also a member of the comedy collective, the Loud Pack.

We knew we had to fix our 7,000 square foot roof one day.
Now we can.

When you spend money with a local business, sometimes this is what your money does.
Your business allows us to continue restoring a 112 year old 3 story building (with 7,000 square feet on each floor, a basement & a tunnel to another historic business) so it can hopefully stand for another 112 years. Maybe someday your grandchildren will walk through the Newberry Building & talk about the old texas bbq that was here maybe it will still smell like post oak and brisket. Maybe one of them will even have a business of their own here.
Historic buildings don't maintain themselves, and maintaining them isn't cheap. The only way property owners can continue investing in these spaces is if there is enough business happening inside of them to support the buildings themselves.
We won't ask you for donations but we will ask for your business.

Go to the movie theatre and drive-in. Shop at the flower shop and bakery. Get local giftcards. Buy the ticket. Hire the local contractor. Eat at the local restaurants. Visit/donate to the Carnegie Arts Center.
That's how we keep these places here.

We are pumped to have stand-up comedy back in The Banquet Hall!
Thanks to turn2entertainment we’ve been able to welcome some serious comics from Denver, Austin, and beyond into our historic space.
We hope this becomes one of those events we get to keep doing for a long time — especially for those of y’all who don’t mind letting your guard down and laughing at some pretty inappropriate (and often painfully relatable) jokes.
