George Washington Fun Fact

During his Presidency, Washington's birthday became a national event that towns throughout the country commemorated. But he personally didn't pay much attention to the day when he was at his home in Mount Vernon - often spending it doing normal work activities. He celebrated his last two birthdays with his Alexandria neighbors, who still celebrate it today with spirit!
