ArtWalk - Downtown Alexandria

ArtWalk - Downtown Alexandria ArtWalk is a community festival sponsored by the Arts Council of Central Louisiana held bi-annually in Downtown Alexandria.

**ArtFete will be held May 1st and 2nd in conjunction with AlexRiverFete! For more information, visit http://ticket-central.org/events/artfete-2015/

ArtWalk is a free, family-oriented, self-guided walking tour of over 60 participating artists, vendors, and live entertainment acts, held bi-annually in the Cultural Arts District in downtown Alexandria. Sidewalks, green spaces, and the alleys come a

live as local artists demonstrate and sell their works of art. All original artwork sold within the Cultural Arts District is tax-free.

-Artist Participation-
Participating artists can register online, by mail or in person. All submissions must be original in conception and execution and not a copy or reproduction of any other work. All visual artists, in all mediums can participate. The Arts Council of Central Louisiana has your irrevocable permission, without restriction, to use your work in reproduction for display, catalogs, posters and advertising for this event. The Arts Council of Central Louisiana and the City of Alexandria assumes no liability for theft or damage of artwork. Artists are advised to provide their own insurance for artwork.

Everyone ready for another SNEAK PEEK 👀 for THIS FRIDAY?! 😳🤭

Yesterday we featured a few of our vendors that create JEWELRY!🌟 But just to prove that none of our vendors can be constrained to just one category, today we're gonna shout out a VARIETY💫 of different vendors!!

💀 Of Life & Loss Creations uses recycled and natural materials to create inspiring decor!
🧼 BRANCHOFF specializes in natural body care items, like loofahs, soaps, and more!
💐 Elizabeth's Resin Boutique creates custom keychains, bookmarks, jewelry, and more from resin and faux leather!
🧶 Ann Ivy's Crochet and Sundry will both feature a variety of crocheted goods!
🥀 Spellbound By JaneMarie brings out a stunning array of custom decor and trinkets!
🔨 Trey's Woodshop will have one-of-a-kind cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and on-site laser engraving!
🕯 My Fashion Tees will be selling some very unique homemade candles and lanterns!
⚙️ Steampunk by Susie uses inspiration from the steampunk style to create beautiful trinkets and decor!
