🍓 Strawberries, adventure, and family fun — the Alderson Strawberry Festival begins at Sunset Berry Farm at 8 AM and closes at 8 PM.
The Alderson Strawberry Festival, held in the historic town of Alderson, celebrates the community’s beloved strawberry farm—Sunset Berry Farm, proudly recognized with the prestigious Sweetest Strawberry Award—and the rich agricultural traditions that have made the town famous for its strawberries.
The festival begins at Sunset Berry Farm at 8 AM, where visitors can experience the launch of the brand-new for 2026 Sunset Farm Adventure Park and enjoy a full day of family fun on the farm. Farm attractions include: a mini zipline, bounce pad, working excavators, tractor-pulled rides, a whimsical fairy garden, and many other hands-on activities. Guests can also enjoy pick-your-own strawberries from the farm’s beautiful one-acre strawberry patch while supplies last, browse West Virginia crafts, relax with chair massages, enjoy food trucks, and savor plenty of strawberry sweets. The celebration continues into the evening with live entertainment by the GRIT Rock Band.
Additional vendors will be featured along the iconic Alderson Memorial Bridge (10 AM - 4 PM), which spans two counties and sits nestled beside Alderson’s Store, the oldest continuously operating store in West Virginia. 🍓
