We are here to officially announce that Southwest Funga Fest 🍄 will be happening again this year!

The Festival will be, August 1st-3rd, 2025.

This years location is 📍
SECOND SKY Science Garden & Social Club
4141 E Irvington Rd Building A, Tucson, AZ 🏜️

Stay tuned and stay shroomed, for an exciting lineup of educators, teachers, leaders, artists, artisans, vendors and musicians. This year we plan to have 20 world class educators, even better citizen science activities, fungal DNA sequencing and preservation, in the field forays, local mushroom farm collaborations, finally a local chef mushroom cook-off, fungal photography, FUNCTIONAL Fungi Education, morning best practices, classes, panels, workshops, kids camp “THE SPORE SOURCE”, food options, vendor and trade village, in house FUNGI library, tea 🍵, and evening entertainment!

Excited to collaborate and HARMONIZE with all the beautiful people and creatures of 🌍 EARTH 🌏. Lots of announcements to follow!

We are excited to be accepting Performer and Entertainer applications, for the 2025 South West Funga Fest 🍄! Musical Acts, Comedy, Performances alike get that application turned in.

To apply to be a Performer or Entertainer,

1. You can go to the description in our bio and click on the link that says PERFORMER FORM.
Google will open the form and you can fill it out. Make sure to push the submit button.

2. You can go to the description in our bio and click on the link to our .dot profile. Once you open the link to the .dot profile you will see a link to a Google form titled “2025 SWFF Performer Form”, open this form and submit!

Telluride Mushroom Festival happening this year!!! It’s going to be an amazing year.

Telluride Mushroom Festival is the Oldest Wild Mushroom Festival in the USA 🍄 We take our legacy and impact seriously - knowing that mycologists and mycophiles from all over the world converge here during this annual reunion, to learn and connect to our greater mycelial web. Each year ideas are born here, the myco-curious find their network & inspiration to dive deeper into their fungal interests. Business partners meet here and fungi folk fall-in-love. It’s here that myco-legends have taken the stage for the first time, and where they return decades into their careers to share discoveries in the field. It is at TMF rare fungi are found by average folks, monumental scientific discoveries are made, and costumes reach the pages of Vogue.
