With a mission to foster community, stimulate innovation, and inspire artistic collaboration, High Horse Events creates transformative gatherings that entertain, educate, and connect guests to the vibrant heart of our city. Our carefully curated events not only entertain but also educate and inspire, creating lasting connections between guests and the vibrant cultures they encounter.

Leading this endeavor is David Stroud, native New Mexican, a visionary event curator with over 15 years of experience crafting some of Albuquerque’s most iconic events, including ABQ Corks & Brews and the Mayor’s Ball. A true champion of community and creativity. Behind High Horses’ creation and mission is David’s love for Albuquerque’s culture and community. David is all about sharing our story by showcasing Albuquerque, its people and the small businesses that make-up the heart of the Q. David is the definition of community!!

Joining the team as Venue Director is CJ Torres, a seasoned expert in event management, catering, and hospitality. With over a decade of experience and a knack for innovative design, CJ is set to elevate the venue with his visionary approach and commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences. CJ is known for his exceptional ability to craft unique decor and furniture that elevate any space into a memorable experience. His passion for creating inviting and innovative environments makes him a perfect fit for our team. We can’t wait to see the transformative ideas he will bring to our venue and how he will enhance the experiences of our guests.
