💔 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a pillar of the New Mexico community, Maria Valdez.
Maria was a passionate supporter of local businesses throughout Albuquerque including both What's New in ABQ and the nonprofit organization Blessed and Beautiful. Her generosity, kindness, and dedication to uplifting others left a lasting impact on so many in our community.
Maria's venue proudly hosted the 2nd Annual Hero In All of Us event, and her support helped make that event—and many others—a success. Her belief in community, small businesses, and bringing people together is something that neither What's New in ABQ nor Blessed and Beautiful will ever forget.
Today, we are sharing the official GoFundMe established by Maria's husband, Robin, to support their family during this incredibly difficult time. We encourage anyone whose life was touched by Maria, or who simply wants to support a local family in need, to consider making a donation.
