RIP our good friend Bob Bovee. Here's a photo of him (on the right) with Pop Wagner, playing at the 2023 Big Island Rendezvous and Festival - Albert Lea. Thanks for all the great music, Bob.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of our good friend Bob Bovee. He performed with his wife Gail Heil at Big Island Rendezvous many times over the years, and after her passing, he was onstage here with Pop Wagner. Bob was a wonderful human being who gave so much to the music community. And it goes without saying that he was one heck of a musician. RIP dear Bob.You will be sorely missed. Surely Bob and Gail are singing in the heavenly choir now. ❤️

We are so excited to welcome Twin Prop Jane to Big Island Rendezvous this fall! They'll be performing onstage and throughout the grounds on Saturday only, October 3, so be sure not to miss them! Beautiful Celtic ballads, old-time songs and more, with Dee Brust, Tam Jones, and Courtney Buck. Their act features vocal harmonies, fiddles, banjo, mandolin, and guitar.
