🎵💔 It’s the end of an era MTV is officially closing. For so many of us, MTV wasn’t just a channel, it was the spark that inspired our love for film and music videos.
I personally started making music videos because of MTV it shaped my path as a filmmaker and showed me how powerful storytelling through music can be.
At the New York State International Film Festival, we’ll continue celebrating that legacy by keeping the Music Video category alive. The creativity, emotion, and visual art that MTV inspired will continue to thrive through independent filmmakers everywhere.
