The inaugural Capital Region Festival of Theatre is coming up fast and we are so excited to celebrate this with you! For this weekend strictly dedicated to theatre, we are hoping to not only reach you as an organization but those that support you as well. This could be the people that you have worked with previously, any members of your organization/subscription holders, truly any patron of the arts that you have!

We know for a fact that all of us in the Capital Region work hard to promote our fundraisers and shows and we would not be able to continue to create fantastic performances without the love and support from both directly within the community but those extended friends as well. We would love for those that show appreciation for your group to have the opportunity to view a snippet of what our community can do, including some of your neighboring groups, so we all create more success for each other!

Every time we get together we have the BEST time and can’t get over how large, varied and just plain extraordinary Capital Region theatre is!

We put out a call for Shakespeare scenes, songs and monologues and over 40 people signed up in a week and a half!

We’ll have music from Gail Sparlin & Cecelia Gray, monologues from Sara Buchter, George Filieau, Melissa Hughes, J Hunter, Jen Madison, Scala, Jeannine Trimboli, the companies of Columbia County Players, Drama Kids International, Will Kempes Players and the casts of Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, Twelfth Night and so much more!

Don’t miss this opportunity to salute Shakespeare and get a glimpse of some of what the amazing Capital Region theatre community offers all while raising much needed funds for the fast approaching festival 6/12-6/15
