Last Saturday was our Play It Forward Event for Albany Pride and we couldn’t be more proud for how it turned out.

With over 50 attendees, and dozens for hours of played games, we were able to raise ~$1200 for Albany Pride!

We’d like to thank Springhill Cellars Winery, 3 Potato More, and Mid-Willamette Community Board Gamers for their support and help with making this event the best it could be. You guys rock!

Drop in for a Juneteenth collaborative art project with teaching artist Janique Crenshaw. All are welcome to create a square for a Freedom Quilt honoring Black resilience and the many ways freedom can be imagined. This program is presented in partnership with KinCultivate and the Albany Public Library.

Janique Crenshaw (she/her) is an Oregon-based teaching artist working in watercolor, ink, acrylic, and mixed media. Inspired by art nouveau and music, her work blends intricate detail with bold, expressive color. She is passionate about uplifting Q***r, Trans, Black, and Indigenous creative voices through low-barrier art markets and community art events across the Mid-Willamette Valley.

LEND A HAND

Please understand that virtually all of the smaller rural Pride organizations are volunteer-run. These events are managed and organized by your friends and neighbors who are likely juggling work, family and a myriad of other day-to-day life obligations while also donating time and energy to their communities. Appreciate their efforts. Step up and help.

A message from Albany Pride.

β€œHello 2026 Albany Pride Festival family! The volunteers behind the curtain would like express our apologies for some delays in communication.

The group of people organizing this year's event, and for the years moving forward, are new to these rolls, and many of them are new to event coordination at all.

If you'd like to be involved by volunteering, helping to plan this event for next year, or to help it run more efficiently, please reach out to our page or email, and we will try keep you in the fold for next year.

To address the most frequent and urgent comments and concerns- the booth application form is unfortunately closed, as all the available booths have been applied for. The form was closed earlier than we had announced, due to a higher amount of applicants than we had expected, and we failed to make the announcement of such in a timely manner.

We are currently working to consolidate all of our information to move on to the next stage of communicating with our vendors, answering their questions or concerns, and moving towards day-of coordination.

If you have applied to be a vendor or a performer: we will be communicating with you ASAP.

Thank you all SO MUCH for your patience as we work to adjust to the various restructurings happening with our team. We hope to make you all proud with an amazing celebration of our community!

For other questions, please message Albany Pride's email: [email protected] or message this page, and we will get back you as soon as we can.

We have an amazing event filled with love, fun, community, entertainment, and PRIDE in one month- SEE YOU THERE!”
