White Sands Balloon & Music Festival The White Sands Balloon & Music Festival (WSBMF) was established in 2019 by the Alamogordo Center of Commerce.

This one-of-a-kind festival combines the beauty of Hot Air Balloons, Live Music, and breath-taking views.

Pilot briefing update: Wind is looking "variable," meaning that the wind speeds are changing throughout the evening. Pilots will be modifying the look of tonight's glow: a propane glow called "candlesticking."
