Our North Eastern Ohio Education Association Workshop was a huge success today at Derby Downs! Teachers from all over Northeast Ohio learned about our mini-car curriculum, our Gravity Racing Challenge program, and heard from other teachers who use our educational assets at all ages in our nearby schools.

The baseline of STEM starts with Soap Box Derby!

Big shoutout to Barberton City School District for sending teachers & volunteers to assist with today's activities! The teachers had a blast riding down the big hill, creating and racing their mini cars, and connecting with fellow educators!

to when Caleb Gilbert won the Local Super Stock in 2024 at the 86th FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby!

It came down to Samantha Hoagey, Tristan Talluto, and Caleb Gilbert to win a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in the Local Super Stock Division. Caleb Gilbert, from Harrisonburg, Virginia, was lifted up as soon as he won by fellow Virginian Johnathan Johnson for one of the best photos captured in run out!
