We had a great weekend of selling, buying, trading, appraising, and just showing off. Everyone I spoke to reported good sales and buys. I apologize to those of you I didn't get a chance to talk to. Seems I'm always being pulled in ten different directions at once.

Thank you to my beautiful bride, the MAPS Air Museum family, the vendors, attendees, and everyone else who participated. Teamwork makes the dream work.

See you in October, if not sooner.

2026 is starting on a sad note in the militaria collectors community. Steve Berge and Danny Link were all-around great guys and good friends. Both were fixtures at the MAPS military show and benefactors to the museum. Both will be missed by many. Our deepest condolences to both families. Please keep their loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace brothers, we have the watch.

Another successful NCMC military collectibles show at the MAPS Air Museum is in the books. It takes a great team of folks to make these shows work. Thanks to my beautiful bride of 36 years, the dedicated folks at the MAPS Museum, our ever faithful vendors, and all who attended this year's shows. 2025 will mark our tenth year and an overwhelming majority of the first show's vendors are still with us.

Not bad considering I was told a militaria show would NEVER be successful in this area. Thanks Jim for challenging me and driving me to prove you wrong. If you're still holding my beer buddy you can put it down now...😉

Once again Christian Harwell and the crew at Cyrus Custom Framing & Art Gallery came through with another fantastic preservation and framing job. This 100+ year old silk wall hanging had been folded up in a metal box for at least 60 years. I took it to Christian and told him to work his magic. They were able to get the creases out, do some repairs, and beautifully frame it for the next 100 years. The picture doesn't do their work justice. I'm always blown away by their work. They are truly exceptional artists.

It will soon be on display in the Gallery of Heroes at the MAPS Air Museum.

I finally got a copy of the recent article in Military Trader magazine written about this past October North Coast Military Collectors show. The MAPS Air Museum based event always seems to be popular. Great PR for the museum and show. I had no idea this was in the works, a pleasant surprise.
