What do we carry from the people who came before us?

Some things we know: family stories, traditions, lessons, names.
Others are quieter: patterns we repeat, strengths we draw upon, expectations we've inherited, ways of moving through the world that began long before we did.

On Friday, October 23, we're gathering at The B**r Ranch for Through the Veil, a day devoted to exploring those threads and deciding what we want to carry forward.

This isn't a séance. You don't need to communicate with the dead, know your genealogy, follow a particular spiritual tradition, or have any experience with horses.

You only need to be curious about the story that existed before you became its next chapter.

NEW MEXICO is beautiful and enlightening and very spiritual for me. I spent last week there at a training Horses For Heroes NM - Cowboy Up! learning how to better guide veterans, first responders, and any one who has experienced trauma, toward a more positive and comfortable future through Gestalt, brain science, and horses. It was incredibly inspiring and energizing to learn from the wisdom of an organization that has served this population so effectively for many years. I'm excited to bring the wealth of techniques I learned to my area and clients.

On a related note, I will be opening my schedule to new clients who want experience Equine Gestalt starting the second week of June. Drop me a DM if you're interested in joining me for a Horse Magic Session!

Last week, while Spring was beginning to spring here in Missouri, I was off to the Colorado high country to photograph Horses in the Snow! It was our Cowgirls with Cameras first Horses in the Snow Photographer's Getaway and it was SO MUCH FUN. The C Lazy U Ranch was our amazing host ranch. Lots of amazing photos, great company, and, of course, beautiful horses!
