The Miss GA South Pageant is thrilled to introduce our next official judge for The 2026 MISS GA SOUTH & GA NORTH PAGEANT— Emily Kennedy.

With 23 years of experience in education, Emily has dedicated her career to helping students find their voice and reach their full potential. She currently serves as the English Language Arts Department Chair at Clinch County High School, where she leads curriculum development, mentors fellow educators, and inspires students through a passion for communication, confidence, and critical thinking.

In addition to her work in education, Emily brings over 10 years of experience in the pageant world. Her background includes organizing, directing, and judging pageants at various levels. She has also experienced the pageant journey from a personal perspective as a professional pageant mom, traveling across the United States with her daughter, who has competed on multiple national pageant stages.
Emily lives in Homerville, Georgia, and has been married to her husband, Tom, for 24 years. Together, they have three children: Thomas, Taylor, and Ella Katherine. This unique combination of educational leadership, pageant expertise, and family experience allows her to thoughtfully evaluate contestants on communication skills, stage presence, confidence, and character—qualities that extend far beyond the crown.

The Miss GA South Pageant is thrilled to introduce our next official judge for The 2026 MISS GA SOUTH & GA NORTH PAGEANT— Leila Gemmellaro Console.

Leila is a devoted wife, proud mother of three, and very involved in the pageant industry. With over a decade of experience, she has worn many hats—from pageant mom to director, and mentor—helping to guide and inspire the next generation of titleholders. Her daughter, Sofia, currently holds the title of Miss North Dakota Teen USA.

Leila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, a Master’s in Business, and a Juris Doctor Degree. Before choosing to focus on her family full-time, she built a successful career in both the business and fashion industries, she had her own children’s fashion boutique for over 10 years, she also worked for prestigious national and international companies—including her last role at Louis Vuitton.

It began on prayer and passion in 1995 and has blossomed into the “Super Bowl Pageant of the South.” Over the past 31 years, thousands of girls from across the south have competed in the Miss GA South Pageant and we have crowned hundreds of queens. Part of the tradition has been sending our winners onto Miss Georgia USA & Miss Georgia Teen USA— where we have had 64 in the Top 15, 28 in the Top 5, 8 wins, 5 photogenic awards, and 3 congeniality awards!

Join us this weekend as we celebrate our 31st year of pageantry with The 2026 MISS GA SOUTH & GA NORTH PAGEANT in Valdosta, Georgia— featuring 140 contestants!

On Saturday, January 24, the Baby & Teeny Pageant is at 9:00 AM. The Tiny & Little Pageant is at 1 PM. The Young & Junior Pageant is at 4 PM. Tickets are $20 and are available at the door.

On Sunday, January 25, the Teen, Miss, and Ms. Pageant is at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $25 and are available at the door.

The Miss GA South Pageant is thrilled to introduce the next official judge for The 2026 MISS GA SOUTH & GA NORTH PAGEANT— Jamaal Lockwood.

Jamaal is a junior at Florida State University studying Retail Entrepreneurship. He serves as the Undergraduate Studies Student Leadership Council President and is passionate about empowering young people through leadership, style, and personal development. Jamaal is also an aspiring entrepreneur, focused on creating impactful fashion brands that give back to the community.
