Our mission at All Fur Fun is to provide a place to open the lines of communication and enhance the bond between you and your dog, using Positive Reinforcement training. Your dog should feel secure, happy, well mannered, and be a valued member of your household. All Fur Fun is a centrally located Dallas dog training facility with year-round access to everything you need for training your dog! Agility classes, Puppy, Manners, Sports, and other fun classes are offered with progressive and engaging instructors! Your dogs 'special needs' will always be our top priority. 🫚TURMERIC COMPOUNDS REDUCE DOG CANCER CELL MOVEMENT BY NEARLY 76% IN JUST 24 HOURS, MATCHING A CHEMO DRUG !🐾

Turmeric contains curcumin🫚, a natural plant compound researchers are investigating for its potential benefits in dogs!

🔬 1. TURMERIC & CANCER CELLS

A 2025 peer-reviewed study from São Paulo State University, published in Animals, compared curcumin, homeopathic turmeric and a chemotherapy drug in canine bladder cancer cells.

After just 24 hours:

🫚CURCUMIN: 75.8% less cancer cell movement

💧HOMEOPATHIC TURMERIC: 74.8% less movement

All FUR Fun Training and Event Center

This is a foundation level workshop that will focus on groundwork games that will build your puppy's confidence in new environments and build teamwork.

Focus on engagement, teamwork for sport, and Recalls!
Geared towards 3-10ish month puppies; but any age dog is welcome.

Seizures can be one of the most difficult challenges for both dogs and their families. While medication is often necessary, nutrition, including medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), can play an important role in supporting brain health and reducing seizure potential.

🥥MCTs CUT SEIZURES BY 50% OR MORE IN SOME DOGS WITH EPILEPSY, WITH SOME BECOMING SEIZURE-FREE, RESEARCH SHOWS.🐶🧠

If your dog struggles with seizures, MCT oil🥥 is one nutritional strategy worth discussing with your veterinarian.

In a randomized, double-blind controlled trial, 3 dogs became seizure-free and another 7 had their seizures cut by at least 50% while eating an MCT-enriched diet. That’s 10 of 21 dogs, nearly half.
Another randomized trial added C8/C10 MCT oil directly to dogs’ regular food and found significantly fewer seizures and seizure days. Two dogs became seizure-free.

🥄 HOW MUCH?

In that study, MCT oil provided about 9% of daily calories. The average dog weighed about 56 lb and received roughly 1½ teaspoons per day, divided between two meals.
This isn’t a universal dose. Researchers calculated it based on each dog’s calorie needs, and you should introduce MCT oil slowly with food.

🧠 AND MCTs AREN’T JUST FOR SEIZURES.

As dogs age, their brains become less efficient at using glucose. MCTs can provide an alternative fuel source through ketones.

Controlled studies in senior dogs have found MCT-enriched diets can improve learning, memory and cognitive performance.

So even if your dog doesn’t have seizures, MCTs are an interesting nutritional tool for supporting the aging brain.
Look for an MCT oil rich in C8 and C10, which is different from regular coconut oil.

Why?
Why am I doing this exercise with Marley?
In this instance, I am simply having fun with a 'thinking' dog that has learned how to learn!

This is 'capturing' and 'shaping.'

I teach dog's to notice patterns...to notice "what works" to earn reinforcement. Simple as that!

This is an inpromtu exercise in class yesterday.
I took Marley over to my tape on the wall
She has never seen this before
The video starts at the very first 'offering' by Marley
My click happens when she offers a behavior that will lead to the desired outcome of 'climbing the wall.'
This took roughly a minute! This dog understands how to notice that her actions lead to consequences. She wants the cookie. How can she get it? She quickly figures it out.
