Adamant Community Club

With the coming of warmer weather, the Adamant Community Club will open its doors and host a series of "Meet the Candidate" events. The first candidate who has accepted our invitation is Sue Minter, one of three candidates running in the Democratic primary for Governor. She will be at the Community Club on Saturday, May 7, from 4:30 to 5:30.
The informal setting will be an ideal way to meet the candidates face to face, and to find out where they stand on a variety of issues. Please spread the word!

A wonderful evening of entertainment is in store at the Maple Corner Community Center this coming Sunday, July 19, at 7:00 PM. Music by Susannah Blachly, Patti Casey, Tom MacKenzie, Lewis Franco & the Brown Eyed Girls, plus poetry by Geof Hewitt. All proceeds from the $15 admission go towards the campaign the re-open the Adamant Community Club. We've gotten pledges of more than $5000 towards our goal of $7500. Help get us over the top! We hope to install a composting toilet and replace the outmoded heating system, so that the building can be used for community events.

We're almost at the halfway point of our Kickstarter campaign to re-open the Community Club, and more than halfway towards our goal. The sooner we reach the goal, the sooner the new composting toilet will be installed! And mark your calendars for a special benefit concert for the Club - Sunday July 19 at 7:00 (Maple Corner Community Club) with Susannah Blachly, Patti Casey, Tom MacKenzie, Lewis Franco, and Geof Hewitt.

Detour to the Community Club for tonight's concert with Miriam, Michael and Rob: The intersection of Haggett and Martin is closed. From Montpelier, do NOT turn right on Haggett to Adamant. Instead, continue on County Rd past Haggett and go all the way to Martin. Ignore the road closed sign at Martin and follow Martin to the show.
