We want to thank everyone who came out to support the Festival, with a special shoutout to our sponsors who are the backbone of the Ada Chili & Beer Festival. Their support brings the tents, heat, music, equipment, and safety together so thousands of neighbors can enjoy this community tradition. Because of them, we’re able to host an event that raises meaningful support for Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan.

We’re also grateful to The Community Church in Ada for welcoming us into their space for so many years. It gave the Festival a place to grow, and we’re excited to find another great venue to keep the tradition going. Stay tuned.

What a day at the Ada Chili + Beer Festival!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday — the tents were full, the energy was high, and both divisions delivered some of the closest chili competitions we’ve had yet. Popular vote and judges’ scores were tight all the way to the finish.

POPULAR VOTE WINNERS
Open Division
🥇 Lucky 7’s Chili — the clear fan favorite with 174 votes
🥈 Cherry Hot Chili — strong runner-up with 152 votes

Professional Division
🥇 O’Brien’s Schoolhouse — 94 votes
🥈 JT’s Pizza & Spirits — 90 votes, right on their heels

🥇 Lucky 7’s Chili
🥈 Cherry Hot Chili

Professional Division
It came down to the slimmest margin of the entire festival.
Gravel Bottom and Archival Brewing ended in a tie, and per festival rules the tie is broken by the first-round scoring.
🏆 Gravel Bottom takes the win.
🥈 Archival Brewing earns a very close second.

Chili Team Spotlight: D***s & Dingers

Say hello to D***s & Dingers, one of the newest names on the local food scene and a welcome addition to this year’s festival.

Chef Phillip Faber is a Michigan native with 35 years of experience in the food industry. He brings depth, skill, and decades of flavor to everything he creates.
Owner Andy Anderson and his wife Becky recently opened D***s & Dingers on 52nd & Broadmoor this past July, and they’ve been building a loyal following ever since.

We’re excited to have them under the tent for their first Ada Chili & Beer Festival. Come give them a warm welcome.
