The Acton Fair is built by hardworking volunteers, and Isaiah Knox is one of those people you can always count on.

As the owner of LB KNOX & COMPANY, Isaiah is always just a phone call away when something needs attention. No matter the challenge, he shows up with a smile and gets right to work. Whether it’s troubleshooting an issue, restoring power, running new wiring, or making sure every light and outlet is working safely, he’s the kind of guy who gets the job done without looking for recognition. From keeping the fairgrounds powered up to tackling unexpected electrical problems, Isaiah’s knowledge, dedication, and attention to detail help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. ⚡️🔌🚜

Many nights, Isaiah is still on the fairgrounds long after most people have gone home, making sure everything is powered up and ready for another day. His dedication, reliability, and willingness to lend a hand help keep the Acton Fair running smoothly year after year.

The Acton Fair is built on people like Fred Roberts.
A lifelong Springvale resident, Fred has spent his life raising livestock, working hard, and carrying on the traditions that built this community. The Roberts family has been part of the fair for generations, with Fred’s father serving as Fair President years ago — and that same work ethic still shows every single year.
Before most people even think about fair week, Fred is already putting in the hours. From getting the grounds ready to fixing what needs fixing and making sure everything is in place, he’s one of the people doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes to keep the fair running strong.
When fair week comes around, you’ll usually find Fred and his nephew Tyler in the pulling ring, helping keep the ox and horse pulling traditions alive. Long days, early mornings, and pride in the work — that’s what keeps these traditions going.
The fair isn’t built in an office. It’s built by hardworking people willing to show up, put the time in, and do the jobs nobody sees.
Thank you, Fred, for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to the Acton Fair and the community around it.
