Thank you all for your enthusiastic participation and support throughout this year’s festival. We were especially honoured to welcome Pan Ke-yin, Shen Ko-shang, and Tang Sheng-jung in person for post-screening Q&A sessions with audiences in Melbourne. We were also delighted to have Chen Yu-hsun join us online from Taipei following the film’s final screening there, sharing this special moment together with audiences in Melbourne.
“Light flickers across the screen, while time continues to flow.”
This describes not only every Taiwanese film we screened, but also every audience member who came to ACMI to take part in the Melbourne Taiwan Film Festival, as well as the festival team itself, now reaching its fifth edition.
We would like to invite everyone to help us build this year’s Melbourne Taiwan Film Festival photo wall by sharing your festival photos. Every Taiwanese person in Melbourne, together with local audiences, has helped weave a shared Taiwanese landscape through your participation and presence. Please also feel free to tag us! We’ll definitely come by and say hi within a like.
Of course, you are also warmly welcome to leave your reflections, comments, or questions that you may not have had the opportunity to ask during the sessions.
