West Texas, our team has heard you and want to thank you for your participation in the first-ever West Texcellence Awards Show! This is a project that is very near and dear to our hearts. We’re only three show directors representing a very large region, and we believe that everyone deserves to have their flowers! So thank you for helping us make that a reality for our west Texas drag family! We are so grateful!

We also wanted to say that Nyx, Cecilia, and Redd very much appreciate all of your nominations over various categories in this show. However, we have all agreed that this show is meant for our community and seeing our names nominated was more than enough for the three of us. That being said, we have agreed to exempt ourselves from nominations and voting. We believe this to be the most fair and ethical decision. Thank you. The three of us are deeply grateful for your nominations.
