MANNERS & CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TRAINING CLASS
Are you the top dog in your home, or is your dog the one who runs the show? Be the master of your domain once again by enrolling Fido in this beginning course to help you gain control! This course will cover basic training in come, sit, down, greeting strangers, stay, and heel along with basic behavioral conditioning to establish pack order in the household. This class will be adapted to follow CGC guidelines. CGC testing to be done at a later date if there is enough participation. Participants must be strong enough to handle their dog. Have you ever asked a question about your computer or phone and the answer was full of terms, jargon, and gibberish that leaves you shaking your head and mumbling? These classes are designed for anyone who faces difficulties when it comes to understanding the vocabulary, and terminology used to describe computer and cell phone capabilities.

LOOM WEAVING
Learn several aspects of weaving and setting up a multiple harness loom from warp calculations to fully dressing it. Each student will have a loom to set up and work on. Classes range from Beginning Weaving; Advanced Beginning Weaving; to Individual Study; Beginning students will weave a small hand towel. Advanced Beginning Students will weave a small table runner. Individual Study projects depend on what the student wishes to learn and weave. *Note: There is a material fee of $20 or more depending on project chosen payable to the instructor. The ARCC has 15 looms available for students, but each session is limited to 4 students. Ages 18 and up.

Learn the art of slip casting! This will be a two-week class where you learn how to slip cast using plaster molds – we will be making mugs. As we wait for the slip to set up, learn what exactly underglaze is by making a complimentary coaster for you mug! We will also be experimenting with high fire glazing techniques such as layering.
