📢 Winter Storage Drop-Off Starts October 13th! 🍁🚤

Thank you for using the Brown County Fairgrounds for your storage needs. We will be accepting storage items on the dates below from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

⚠️ Note: Any items dropped off after 4:30 PM will be put into storage the following morning.

🗓️ Drop-Off Schedule & Locations:

🚤 Boats & Vehicles: Tuesday, October 13th

Boats: Park on the north side of the Beef Barn.

Vehicles: Must be in good driving condition; owners will drive in and park them.

🚐 Campers (Pull-Type, Pop-Ups, & Motorized RVs): Wednesday, October 14th & Thursday, October 15th

Pull-Type Campers: Park in the east lot of the Expo Building.

Pop-Up Campers: Park on the north side of the Beef Barn.

Motorized RVs: Owners will drive in and park them.

🏷️ Important Drop-Off Instructions:

Tagging Requirement: Attach a large tag with your Name, Address, and Phone Number in a location easily visible from the front. Items without a tag will NOT be put into storage.

Boats & Pontoons:

All boat motors must be tilted all the way up.

Pontoons may leave motors down, but the canopy must be folded down.

If your boat trailer has electronic brakes and requires your vehicle to move, please make special arrangements to back your boat directly into its storage space.

Appreciate the partners working to improve our Fairgrounds!

AACF recently made a grant to support the Brown County 4-H community building project from its Aberdeen Energy Agriculture sub-fund.

Attending the ceremonial check presentation are Megan Biegler (AACF board), Misty Dosch (Brown County 4-H), Rachel Kippley (The Brown County Fair), Becca Tullar (Brown County 4-H), Matt Harr, Heath Johnson, Hannah Walters and Lindsey Swenson (AACF board members)

Congrats, Coach Dosch! We’re excited to have you on the Brown County Fairgrounds team this summer; the grounds have never looked so good!  thanks for all you do for us and the community! 

Former Aberdeen Roncalli coach Terry Dosch will be inducted into the South Dakota High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame, after nearly 40 years of coaching with multiple state championships….

Out with the Old and In with the New. Thank you to the Aberdeen School District for giving Brown County your older ticket booths. And we certainly appreciate JH Construction LLC for transporting them to the Fairgrounds for us! They will find new life, new use, and a new home with us!

🇺🇸 Office Notice: Memorial Day 🇺🇸
In observation of Memorial Day, the Brown County Fairgrounds office is closed today.

We will reopen tomorrow morning to resume our regular hours and assist you with all things fairgrounds-related! We hope everyone has a safe, meaningful, and wonderful holiday weekend.

HUGE Rummage Sale in the CompEx/Home Arts Building this Saturday, May 9 from 9 am- 4 pm. $1 an item or $10 for a bag full, with all proceeds benefiting the Fair Foundation as they work to improve your Fairgrounds. Bloody Marys and lunch will also be available for purchase as you browse the Brown County Fair Foundation and Aberdeen Area Humane Society Second Paw Sales.

WOW! The Gravel Road Upgrades to the East Campsites look Amazing! Thanks to the Brown County Highway Department for all their work. We hope the new roads will improve the fairgoers' camping experience and make the fair week a little less grueling for the Fair Board volunteers. The Brown County Fair At any rate, the project should guarantee a dry and dusty BCF in '26.
