EasyMiles Training Tip

It’s been a rainy few days around here, so here’s your reminder:

You do NOT have to skip training because you can’t run outside.

Indoor bike, spin bike, Peloton, gym bike, outdoor ride between storms… all of it helps.

Cycling is one of my favorite rainy day options because it builds endurance, strengthens the legs, improves cardiovascular fitness, and gives your joints a little break from impact.

Try this:

10 min easy spin warmup

3 rounds:
5 min moderate effort
2 min easy

5 min cooldown

About 30 minutes total.

Beginners: keep it easy.
Intermediate runners: push the intervals.
Advanced runners: add resistance and make those legs WORK.

Bike today. Run stronger tomorrow. 🚴
