Sigmund Friends — LIVE at Drum Island Fest 2026.

On the stage of Drum Island Fest 2026 — Ukrainian jazz super-trio Sigmund Friends, combining jazz, funk, soul, rock, groove and improvisation.

Freedom is one of the defining features of their sound. Sigmund Friends go beyond traditional genre boundaries, bringing together the individual style, experience and musical identity of three outstanding musicians.

SIGMUND FRIENDS

Pavlo Lytvynenko — piano, keyboards, musical producer of Boombox. He has collaborated with David Gilmour, Dennis Adu, Maru and many other artists. Павло Литвиненко

Alexander Lyulyakin — drums, Boombox. He has worked with Hidden Element Live, The Erised, Maru, David Gilmour and others. He is also the composer of the theatre production Burning Doors, which was included in The New York Times’ list of the best productions of the year. Олександр Люлякін

This performance was recorded live at Drum Island Fest 2026 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Drum Island Fest is more than a percussion competition and festival. It is a space where musicians of different generations, styles and musical backgrounds meet — creating opportunities for live collaboration, inspiration and new musical experiences.

Confident playing, an excellent sense of rhythm, musicality, and a distinctive performance style already set Kyrylo apart among the new generation of Ukrainian drummers.
