Little Bernie has completed her puppy training. At 4 months old, Bernie is smart and eager to learn. She is extremely food motivated making training a bit more relaxed and fun. Bernie built good foundation that will help her as she grows. Bernie’s amazing owners are responsible and dedicated to her well-being. Even her human siblings took part to raise her with love and discipline. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of Bernie’s journey 💕

English below. 柴犬在台灣很受歡迎，是非常聰明、自信和獨立的品種，從小就必須進行社會化訓練，越早越好。許多家庭除了去狗公園，沒有時間幫助寵物社會化。可以選擇狗旅館或狗日托，讓狗接觸和習慣不同的人、環境和狗。別忘了要找一間有經驗的店家，才可以幫狗社會化和學習好規矩喔！Shiba Inu is one of the most popular breeds in Taiwan. Shibas are very confident, smart and independent dogs. It is very important for them to start socialization as early as possible. Besides going to dog parks, which many families do not have the time. You can let your dogs go to daycare and pet hotels for them to get used to different environments, people, and other dogs. Keep in mind to find an experienced facility to help your dogs learn good behaviors.

Another 2 wonderful dogs have completed their one month board & train. EN below. 恭喜兩隻學員成功完成一個月的住校訓練！

Yota 是一隻充滿活力的柴犬。他具有柴犬固執的個性，需要強化牽繩訓練和降低對剪指甲的不安。我們教導他聽從指令的能力，讓他變得更加沈著冷靜。

波波是一隻對周遭人事物充滿恐懼的米克斯。我們需要在訓練前取得她的信任，降低她的不安。她對狗比較有好感，所以我們融入許多公園和群體玩耍的活動，提升她的自信。我們耐心給波波學習的空間，慢慢增加課程的難度，讓她習慣接觸不同的事物。波波在短時間內有顯著的進步，重拾她快樂自在的天性，讓我們相當驚奇！

我們很榮幸可以協助這兩隻學員展現更好的自我，也很為他們開心！

Yota is a Shiba Inu that is full of energy and some stubborn which is part of the breed. He needed help with heeling nicely on leash and get over some issues that he can be sensitive of such a cutting his nails. We worked on his obedience so that he learns to be a calmer dog.

Bobo (波波) is a mixed breed dog. She was very scared of strangers and to her surroundings. Because of her fearful temperament, we needed to gain her trust first before we can start any training with her. Bobo loves other dogs and so we incorporated a lot of activities with other dogs to build her confidence such a going to dog parks to enjoy and have fun. It took lots of patience when we started. We gradually increased challenges little by little to build her confidence around many things. In such a short period of time, Bobo made huge improvements. Her happy nature and comfort level exceeded what we have expected to see.
We are very honored to have the opportunities to help both dogs to be at a better state.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival!! EN below.
祝大家端午節快樂！

狗狗端午節可以吃粽子嗎？獸醫建議不要喔！原因為以下：
▫️ 糯米可能會引起消化不良、腸胃脹氣，也有可能刺激胃酸分泌，分泌過多胃酸。
▫️ 肉粽的餡料可能包含花生、蝦米….等，這類食材較容易引發過敏。
▫️ 肉粽中經常包進肥肉而富有許多油脂，屬於高油脂食物，容易對胰臟造成負擔。

It's widely known that people enjoy "粽子 (zòngzi) rice dumplings" and "赛龙舟 (sài lóngzhōu) dragon-boat races" during the annual Dragon Boat Festival, but amongst all the customs, the most elegant one is surely the making and adorning of a sachet.

The sachet, a small bag full of various spices, came about in ancient times when people used realgar and wormwood to repel insects.
Nowadays, venders during the festival sell sachets just about everywhere. Customers buy them in hopes for peace and happiness…and less bites from hungry pests.

We have 4 board & train dogs that needed a lot of work in different areas. EN below. 我們目前有四隻「住宿訓練」的學員，需要密集加強不同的區塊。美金是一隻六個月大的幼犬，活潑好玩，需要建立生活規範和運動時間。毛毛充滿自信，卻有咬人的問題需要克服。屁屁和阿熊需要更多的社會化和基礎訓練。我們讓所有的主人一起上課，解釋每一隻狗的學習目標，每一隻狗都可以變成自己最棒的樣子！
Meijin is a 6 months old puppy that is playful and needed to have more structure and exercise. Mao Mao is a more confident dog that had some biting issues. P**i & Xion Xion needed more socialization and training on all aspects. We had all the families together and explained how much each dog progressed and what is needed for them going forward so they dog will continue to strive!

Asahi & Kobbe are both mixed breed dogs that needed some guidance from the owners. EN below.
Asahi 和Kobbe 是兩隻需要主人引導的米克斯。牠們對主人有很強的依附性，需要加強社會化訓練。我們教導Asahi 和Kobbe跟著牽繩走路，讓主人可以輕鬆地帶牠們到戶外散步。牠們對陌生人保持警戒，需要一些時間才可以自在地和陌生人共處，在訓練過程中已逐漸看到進步。Asahi 和Kobbe的主人們很了解狗，只需要多花一些時間重複一樣的訓練，就可以看到顯著的效果。Asahi 和Kobbe很幸運可以擁有充滿愛和耐心的主人。
Both Asahi and Kobbe are very bonded to their owners and needed more socialization. We worked on leash manners so the owners can enjoy their daily walks. They are both wary of strangers and will need more practice in the future to be more comfortable around people. However, during the training process, we have seen improvements. The owners have good knowledge of dogs. They just need to put in time and be consistent over time. Both dogs are very lucky to have very loving and patient owners.

Helping Moca to overcome her fear. EN below.
Moca的個性比較敏感害羞，對世界充滿恐懼，散步時容易緊張。她的主人很愛她，下定決心要陪她克服恐懼。上完課的Moca進步很多，她對牽繩的接受和配合度提升，也開始對周遭的事物感到好奇。我們相信只要持續練習，Moca會更有自信！Moca is a sensitive and shy girl. She is very scared of the outside world and fearful on her daily walks. Her owners are determined to help her overcome her fear as they love her very much. Moca has made good progress during the training process. She is now able to heel nicely on leash and starting to be a little curious of her surroundings. With continue practice, Moca will become more confident in time.

我們有許多畢業的狗學員在Paws Fun寄宿，在工作人員的帶領下持續社會化訓練，建立良好的生活規範，與各式各樣的狗玩耍和交流。接觸不同的環境、人和狗，可以幫助您的愛犬學習和成長。讓愛犬與不同的人和狗互動，是日常訓練的一種，跟上正規的訓練課程一樣重要！
We are very pleased to see many dogs that have finished our training program continue socialization through the help of the staffs at Paws Fun boarding facility. The dogs get to play and have lots of fun with other dogs big and small and also structure throughout the day. Socializing your dogs with other dogs and humans is just as important as training. Continue exposure to different environments, people and dogs is important in the growth of your dog.

Board & Train Program for Jumbo, Butter and 帥帥. (EN below)
最近有三隻住校訓練的學員。Jumbo是一隻黃金獵犬，和貴賓狗Butter來自同一個家庭。牠們兩隻和臘腸狗帥帥一起住校，進行與行為相關的課程。

牠們三隻各有不同的行為問題：
Jumbo可愛貼心，卻容易興奮，太開心的時侯會咬人的手腳和衣物，不懂得控制咬人的力道。Butter 比較缺乏安全感，有時喜歡當老大控制場面。帥帥很愛玩，需要學習界限和規矩。

牠們住宿訓練了一個月，有許多玩樂的時間和生活規範，無論個性或行為都達到良好的平衡，有顯著的進步。

牠們回家後也表現地很好。主人持續學校的訓練，複習和維持牠們在學校的成果。我們為牠們的進步和改變感到開心。

Jumbo/Butter/帥帥

Jumbo a Golden Retriever and Butter a poodle belongs to the same family. Along with 帥帥 a Dachshund, all 3 came for a board & train program to work on various behavioral issues. Jumbo is the sweetest Golden, however, he is super excitable and has severe biting issues with people’s hands, legs, and clothing which was out of control. Butter is an insecure yet dominate dog and can be bossy at times. 帥帥 is a playful boy that needs to learn some rules and boundaries.
During their month of training, they got lots of play time and also lots of structure so they learn to be balance dogs.
They made tremendous improvements and their owners are putting in work to make their behaviors permanent. We are happy to hear back all 3 dogs are doing well and making good progress at home.
