Tafakkur: A Reflection on Conflicts and Changes in Contemporary Muslim Societies
在政治與主流媒體的語境中，穆斯林社群常被按上各式各樣的污名，比如“恐怖份子”、壓迫女性或是宗教保守主義等，而這些圍繞著穆斯林的偏見與刻板印象使得外界總是以有色的眼光看待穆斯林群體，或對穆斯林世界充滿疑問。
Tafakkur 穆斯林影展將透過播映相關課題的電影及紀錄片，深入觀察及探討穆斯林世界存在的衝突與不公。影展中也希望邀請各地導演與學者，針對各種不同社群所反映出當代穆斯林在所處的社會、文化及政治環境下所面對的問題，進行深入的探討，俾能促成社會大眾對於穆斯林社群更為寬廣的理解。
The Tafakkur ICCS-NYCU Muslim Film Festival will sc
reen films and documentaries that pose penetrating observations and critiques of the different forms of conflicts and inequity in Muslim societies. This Film Festival aims to discuss diverse communities and cultures that reflect Muslim societies' questions in socio-cultural-political contexts to achieve a deeper understanding across different countries.
