✶ 回顧 2026米蘭設計週：一座城市的設計展演 ✶

2026 年米蘭設計週已於 4 月底結束。
作為全球重要的設計盛會，今年再次讓整座城市進入「展覽狀態」。

從 Salone del Mobile 到 Fuorisalone，設計延伸至街道、建築與日常空間，使米蘭成為被重新編排的城市。

從設計角度來看，今年的重點轉向：

👉 設計不再只是產品展示，而是空間與敘事的建構

Brera 與 Tortona 分別呈現經典與實驗、秩序與概念的不同語言。

品牌也從「展示者」轉為「敘事者」，透過展場、動線與影像建立整體觀看經驗。

▸ 空間成為作品的一部分
▸ 展覽轉向敘事結構
▸ 物件變成感知介面

整體來看，2026 米蘭設計週已不只是展覽集合，
而是一場城市尺度的設計實驗。

設計從「被觀看」，轉向「被經驗」。

✶ Retrospective on Milan Design Week 2026: A City as a Design Exhibition ✶

The 2026 Milan Design Week concluded at the end of April.
As one of the most significant global design events, it once again transformed the entire city into a temporary “state of exhibition.”

From Salone del Mobile to Fuorisalone, design extended beyond exhibition halls into streets, buildings, and everyday spaces, turning Milan into a city being continuously reconfigured by design.

From a design perspective, this year’s focus shifted toward:

👉 Design is no longer just product display, but the construction of space and narrative.

Brera and Tortona presented two contrasting design languages—between classic and experimental, order and conceptual approaches.

Brands also evolved from “exhibitors” to “narrators,” using spatial design, circulation, and visual storytelling to construct holistic viewing experiences.

▸ Space becomes part of the work itself
▸ Exhibitions shift toward narrative structures
▸ Objects become interfaces of perception

Overall, Milan Design Week 2026 was no longer just a collection of exhibitions,
but a city-scale design experiment.

Design is no longer only to be seen,
but to be experienced.

在日本京都，有一種畢業典禮，比萬聖節還難預測。

每年三月，當大多數學校還在舉行莊重的「卒業式」時，
京都大學、京都藝術大學 等學校的學生，卻把這一天變成一場大型「創意變裝現場」。

有人扮成動漫角色、政治人物、迷因角色，甚至當年的熱門事件，都可能變成畢業造型的一部分。

在這個原本象徵「結束與正式告別」的儀式裡，
學生選擇用另一種方式重新定義它——讓畢業變成一種表演、一種自我展示的設計行為。

從設計的角度來看，這其實改變了「典禮」的功能：
它不再只是儀式，而是變成一個可被創作的舞台。

服裝、角色、敘事與空間，在同一個時間點被重新組合，
讓原本制式的場合，變成高度個人化的視覺語言實驗。

也因此，京都的畢業典禮逐漸成為一種「非正式傳統」——
一種由學生持續創造、每年都不同的文化更新機制。

或許這也在提醒我們：
即使是最正式的場合，也仍然可以被重新設計。

In Kyoto, Japan, there is a graduation ceremony that is even more unpredictable than Halloween.

Every March, while most schools are still holding formal “graduation ceremonies,” students from institutions such as Kyoto University and Kyoto University of the Arts transform the day into a large-scale “creative costume event.”

Some students dress up as anime characters, political figures, meme references, or even notable events from the year, turning them into part of their graduation appearance.

In this ritual that originally symbolizes “closure and formal farewell,”
students choose to redefine it in another way—transforming graduation into a performance and an act of self-expression through design.

From a design perspective, this fundamentally changes the function of the “ceremony”:
it is no longer just a ritual, but becomes a stage for creative interpretation.

Costumes, characters, narratives, and space are recombined at the same moment in time,
turning a highly formal setting into an experimental field of personalized visual language.

As a result, Kyoto’s graduation ceremonies have gradually evolved into an “informal tradition”—
a continuously evolving cultural system shaped and recreated by students every year.

Perhaps it also reminds us that:
even the most formal occasions can still be redesigned.

✶ 甜點變成一場被設計過的旅程✶

原來在斗六，有一個地方把千層蛋糕做成了「可以走進去的故事」✨
塔吉特千層蛋糕大使館 就像一個被包裝成展場的甜點空間。

一開始，是兔子公爵在帶路。
腳印一路出現在地面上，把你慢慢往前引導，
不像是在逛甜點店，比較像是被帶進一個已經設計好的世界。

千層蛋糕在這裡也被重新定義。
它不只是食物，而是一種「層層堆疊」的語言，
也把不同國家的甜點文化整理進同一個敘事裡。

有些展示像是被藏起來的知識櫃，可以打開、可以閱讀，
讓原本只是甜點的東西變成可以被理解的內容。

製作過程也被直接放進空間裡。
0.03 公分的蛋皮、一層一層堆疊、急速冷凍，
整個過程比想像中更像一種「被展示的製作」。

最後會有一種感覺：
你不是在買甜點，而是在被帶著看懂一顆蛋糕是怎麼被完成的。
✶ A dessert turned into a designed journey?! ✶

In Douliu, there is a place where mille crepe cakes are turned into a walkable story ✨
Target Mille Crêpes Embassy feels like a dessert space designed as an exhibition.

At the beginning, you are guided by the Rabbit Duke.
Footprints appear on the ground, slowly leading you forward.
It doesn’t feel like walking through a café, but more like entering a carefully designed world.

Here, the mille crepe cake is redefined.
It is no longer just food, but a “layered” language,
bringing different dessert cultures into one shared narrative.

Some displays feel like hidden knowledge cabinets—
you can open them, read them, and explore them.
Turning something as simple as dessert into something that can be understood.

Even the production process is placed inside the space.
0.03 cm thin crepe layers, stacking one by one, rapid freezing—
the whole process feels more like a “displayed production system” than a kitchen.

In the end, the feeling is simple:
you are not just buying a dessert,
you are being guided to understand how a cake is made.
