Trinidad & Tobago Road Runners Club Founded in 1985 by Anthony Salloum, TTRRC is the country's largest and oldest club dedicated to the

Registered club with the NAAA, 80 plus members ranging from competitive to casual runners. We train from Monday to Thursday and one day on the weekend for a long run and meet at 4:50 pm at the bench opposite QRC (closest to Maraval Road Roundabout).

Our brother and team mate Curtis Forbes set out on the road at the midnight marathon on Sunday morning to add another marathon to his list of running accomplishments.

But the combination of a reckless driver and less than ideal road safety conditions at one point along the adjusted race course meant that he didn't get to finish. 😢 He was struck by a driver who fled the scene.

We hope and pray he will recover mentally and physically and gain the confidence to return to the road.

We will be waiting to join him when that time comes.

Please join us in wishing him well on his journey of recovery. ❤️‍🩹
