TOBAGO INTERNATIONAL SEA TO SEA MARATHON UPDATE
The Tobago International Sea to Sea Marathon is Immensely Disappointed to Announce We Will Not Host Sea to Sea 2020 which would have been the 5th running of the Marathon
We have tried very hard to find a way to safely host this event by developing extensive health policies for Covid-19 mitigation but with the second wave of Covid now hitting our beloved country we will be unable to provide a safe environment for you the athletes our volunteers and suppliers for this much-loved event.
We will use this time to plan for an improved running experience in 2021, in the hope of attracting even greater participation amongst locals and visitors. We would like to reassure you that we are committed to the well-being of the Athletes as well as everyone else involved in the organization of The Tobago
International Sea to Sea Marathon.
We understand our role along with our major sponsor Republic Bank and the support of the THA and The Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs ensuring a safe environment for all participants, volunteers, spectators, and supporters.
We look forward to again hosting what has become a tradition in the running world on Nov 20-21, 2021.
We are convinced that this is absolutely the right and responsible cause of action. We love running and we love organizing this event for you, but we love you more.
In light of the exceptional circumstances, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the Nov 20-21, 2021 races.
Please know how grateful the Tobago International Sea to Sea Marathon team is for your support and friendship.
So, until Nov 20 and 21 2021 take care of yourselves and each other.
Mask up, social distance and please wash your hands
