🚴♂️ Türkiye Turu’nun Ankara ile örülü unutulmaz hikâyesi…
1968’de Eskişehir–Ankara etabıyla TUR ilk kez Başkent’e ulaştı. Ankara’da finiş çizgisini ilk geçen isim ise Türk bisikletinin efsanesi Rıfat Çalışkan oldu.
1969-1979 yılları arasında (1973 hariç) Ankara, TUR’un çıkış noktası olarak öne çıktı; yarış kimi zaman Ankara kriteryumu, kimi zaman Anıtkabir çevresindeki prestijli etaplarla başladı.
1983’te Cumhuriyet’in 60. yılı coşkusuyla TUR, ilk kez Ankara’da, Anıtkabir çevresindeki görkemli kriteryumla sona erdi. 1985’te ise Başkent bir kez daha finişe ev sahipliği yaptı.

In 1968, the Tour first reached the capital with the Eskişehir–Ankara stage. The first rider to cross the finish line in Ankara was Turkish cycling legend Rıfat Çalışkan.
Between 1969 and 1979 (except 1973), Ankara stood out as the starting point of the Tour, launching with either the Ankara criterium or the prestigious races around Anıtkabir.
In 1983, during the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Republic, the Tour finished in Ankara for the first time with a magnificent criterium around Anıtkabir. In 1985, the capital once again hosted the grand finale.
Ankara is the city of beginnings, grand finales, and legends in the memory of the Tour of Türkiye. 🇹🇷🚴
