Ankara Hıfzıssıhha Institute: The Capital’s Healthcare Legacy

With the proclamation of the Republic, Ankara became not only the capital where political decisions were made, but also a center where modern health policies were developed. For the new state born in the shadow of wars, epidemics, and poverty, health was one of the fundamental pillars of development. In this context, the Institute of Public Health, established in 1928, became one of the most important symbols of Ankara’s health memory.

Ahi Şerafeddin (Aslanhane) Mosque

Located at the foot of Ankara Castle, the Ahi Şerafeddin (Aslanhane) Mosque is one of the finest examples of 13th-century Anatolian Seljuk wooden-columned mosques.

It takes its name from Byzantine lion statues embedded in its walls. Its minbar and mihrab possess exceptional artistic value.

The mosque is one of the significant examples included in the 2023 UNESCO World Heritage serial property titled “Wooden Hypostyle Mosques of Medieval Anatolia.”

Ancient City of Gordion

Located in Ankara’s Polatlı district, the ancient city of Gordion was the capital of the Phrygian civilization.

It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023 as Turkey’s 20th site.
Inhabited since the 12th century BCE, Gordion is one of Anatolia’s most important archaeological centers, where many traces of Phrygian culture can be seen — including its monumental fortifications and the great tumulus believed to belong to King Midas’s father.

Türkiye, ATO’nun Milli Katılım Organizasyonu ile Global Health Exhibition’da

Ankara Ticaret Odası (ATO), Türkiye’nin sağlık sektöründeki üretim, teknoloji ve hizmet kapasitesini küresel ölçekte tanıtmak için önemli bir adım atıyor.�Ticaret Bakanlığı’ndan aldığı “Milli Katılımlı Fuar Düzenleme Yetkisi” ile ilk organizasyonuna imza atan ATO, 27–30 Ekim 2025 tarihlerinde Riyad’da düzenlenecek Global Health Exhibition 2025’te Türk sağlık sektörünü dünyayla buluşturacak.

Fuar öncesinde, ATO’ya bağlı İlaç ve Tıbbi Cihaz, Bilişim Teknolojileri ve Sağlık Hizmetleri meslek komiteleriyle kapsamlı çalışmalar yürütüldü.
�Bu süreçte sektörün ihtiyaçları, ihracat potansiyeli ve teknoloji alanındaki güçlü yönleri analiz edilerek katılım stratejisi oluşturuldu.

Riyad Sergi ve Kongre Merkezi’nde kurulacak alanda, Türkiye; “Şifa ve İnovasyon” temasıyla sağlık bilişimi, yapay zekâ uygulamaları, laboratuvar teknolojileri ve medikal turizm gibi alanlardaki gücünü sergileyecek.�ATO’nun milli katılım organizasyonu, Türk sağlık firmalarının uluslararası iş birlikleri kurmasına, Körfez bölgesindeki fırsatları değerlendirmesine ve Ankara’nın sağlıkta marka şehir kimliğini güçlendirmesine katkı sağlayacak.

Ankara Ticaret Odası’nın Global Health Exhibition 2025’e milli katılımı organizasyonu hakkında konuşan Ankara Ticaret Orasu Başkanı Gürsel Baran şu açıklamalarda bulundu:

“Türk sağlık sektörü, sahip olduğu bilgi birikimi, teknolojik altyapısı ve yüksek hizmet kalitesiyle dünya genelinde hızla yükselen bir marka değerine dönüşüyor. Ankara Ticaret Odası olarak, bu yükselişi uluslararası alanda daha görünür kılmak ve firmalarımıza kalıcı iş birlikleri kazandırmak amacıyla Global Health Exhibition’a milli katılım organizasyonunu düzenliyoruz.

Bu önemli organizasyonla hedefimiz, Türk sağlık sektörünün gücünü ve yenilikçi kapasitesini Riyad’da dünyaya tanıtmaktır.
