ช่วงนี้สถานการณ์ควันและไฟป่าในเชียงใหม่
ยังคงหนักอยู่ในหลายพื้นที่

ก่อนหน้านี้ ทีมงาน ได้ลงพื้นที่
นำสิ่งของและความช่วยเหลือ
กระจายไปยังหมู่บ้านและหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ เรียบร้อยแล้ว

ในวันที่เรายังไม่ได้วิ่งบนเส้นทาง
ยังมีอีกหลายคนที่ “อยู่บนเส้นทางนั้น” ทุกวัน
เพื่อดูแลและปกป้องผืนป่าให้พวกเรา

จากนี้…
สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดคือกำลังใจ

ขอชวนเพื่อน ๆ ทุกคน
ร่วมส่งแรงใจให้เจ้าหน้าที่
และอาสาสมัครทุกคนที่กำลังทำงานอย่างหนัก

ให้พวกเขาปลอดภัย

The situation with smoke and wildfires in Chiang Mai
is still severe in many areas.

Earlier, the team went on-site
to deliver supplies and support
to local communities and various units.

On days when we’re not out running the trails,

who are on those trails every day
protecting and taking care of the forest for all of us.

คำเมืองวันละคำ : “ระวังก้น!”

หลายครั้งเวลาวิ่งอยู่
แล้วได้ยินชาวบ้าน หรือเพื่อนคนเหนือเตือนว่า

“ระวังก้น!”

หลายคนอาจสะดุ้งนิดนึง
เอ๊ะ…เตือนอะไรนะ? 😅
ก้นเรามันทำไม??

จริง ๆ แล้ว
เขาไม่ได้ทะลึ่งตึงตังอะไรเลยนะคร้าบบบ

เพราะในคำเมือง (ภาษาเหนือ)
คำว่า “ก้น”
แปลว่า “หกล้ม”

ดังนั้น
“ระวังก้น!”
ก็คือ
“ระวังจะล้ม!” นั่นเอง

เวลาได้ยินคำนี้บนเส้นทาง
ไม่ต้องเขิน
แค่ตั้งสติ ชะลอฝีเท้า
แล้วก้าวอย่างระวัง

จริง ๆ แล้ว
คำว่า “ล้ม” ในคำเมือง
ยังมีอีกหลายมิติ หลายท่า หลายเลเวล 😅

เช่น
ผะเลิ่ด
ต้าว
ปักกะดิก
ปักขวิด
หน้าวำ
ตากหงาย

เรียกได้ว่า
ถ้าจะล้ม…ภาคเหนือมีศัพท์รองรับครบทุกอารมณ์เลยทีเดียว

สำหรับโป่งแยงเทรลแล้ว
เราไม่ได้มีแค่เส้นทาง จุดสตาร์ท หรือเส้นชัย
แต่ยังมีภาษา มีวัฒนธรรม
และมีคำเตือนน่ารัก ๆ แบบนี้อยู่ตลอดทาง

แล้วเพื่อน ๆ ล่ะ
เคยโดนเตือนว่า “ระวังก้น” กันบ้างไหม? 😄

Northern Word of the Day: “Rawang Gon!”

When you’re running on the trail
and a local shouts:

“Rawang Gon!”

Some runners freeze for a second.
Wait… what did they just say? 😅
Did they just say… watch your butt?!

Not at all.

In Northern Thai (Lanna dialect),
the word “gon” (ก้น)
actually means “to fall”.

So when someone says
“Rawang Gon!”
they’re simply saying:

“Watch your step!”
or
“Be careful, you might fall!”

No awkward meaning.
Just genuine trail-side kindness 💜

And here’s the fun part —
in Northern Thai, there are many different words for falling.
Each one describes a different style of wipeout 😄

The mountains may challenge you,
but the locals will always look out for you.

So next time you hear
“Rawang Gon!”

Just slow down…
and try not to demonstrate the vocabulary.
